Refunds for Park Rentals Every effort will be made to schedule an alternate date should a cancellation be necessary. Alternate dates may or may not be available to the park user depending upon other reservations that have been confirmed. In case of inclement weather, the park user has three (3) working days to call and schedule an alternate date. If an alternate date cannot be confirmed, a park reservation fee will be refunded to the park user. X. CAMPING RULES POLICY CAMP T.N. You must checkout with a Park Ranger and complete a walk thru of your area before departing. Camping is allowed in designated areas by permit only. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED (Cabarrus County Ordinance Section 50 -4) Reservations are required and can be made by calling 704 - 920 -3351 Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm or anytime at www.cabarruscounty.us /reservepartner Minimum 2 -night reservation is required on Friday and /or Saturday. Fourteen (14) days maximum continuous stay. Parks Department will require a seven (7) day break for same patron /family after a fourteen (14) day continuous stay. Registration: adults (21 years of age or older) must register and occupy site. Children under 18 years of age must not be left alone and must have adult supervision at all times. Guests are required to check in and out with the Park Ranger. Parking: after registering vehicles may be driven to site to unload and again to load when departing.(20 minute limit) At all other times vehicles must be parked in the paved parking areas. Park gates: the park gates will be locked according to the posted park operating hours. An emergency phone and numbers are posted at the phone on the porch of the park office building. Emergency exit gate access to exit will be provided at check in. Emergencies: contact the park ranger on duty during park hours or use the emergency phone at the office. Please report any accidents to the park ranger. Visitors /guests: visitors or guests not staying overnight must leave the park before the gates are closed. Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please respect the rights of others by keeping music and talking at a low volume. Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. NO GROUND FIRES! Fires must be attended by a responsible adult at all times. Extinguish completely before leaving campsite. Do not throw trash in fire rings, use proper receptacles. Fires must be of reasonable size and are not allowed during burning bans. No cutting of Park trees permitted. Damaging park property: cutting of trees, defacing buildings, tables, and littering, etc. is a violation of park ordinances. Fishing: all North Carolina Wildlife regulations apply. No fishing after dark. Park fishing permits are required. Hunting and /or trapping is not permitted. All Cabarrus County Parks are wildlife and nature preserves.
