The application and masterplan were updated after meeting with the Recreation Resource Consultant to develop strategies on how to improve the grant application score, which included the inclusion of the 2010 Cabarrus County Citizen Survey results, minor content clarifications and visual changes to the site plan. No funding is requested at this time. However, if a grant is awarded, the County's 50 percent match will be budgeted in FY 2012. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Parks Department to submit the 2011 North Carolina PARTF grant application and authorized the County Manager to execute all related documentation. (F -12) Sheriff - New Hickory Ridge Middle' School Resource Officer - $23,786.00 The Sheriff's Office requests the creation of (1) one School Resource (Deputy) position for the new Hickory Ridge Middle School (Grade 65, Level 1) . Salary and benefit costs are based on 13 remaining payrolls of fiscal year 2011. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Burrage and unanimously carried, the Board approved the position for the new Hickory Ridge Middle School Resource Officer and adopted the following budget amendment: Date:8 /25/2010 Amount:$23,786 Dept.
