May 19, 2009 (Recessed Meeting) <br />Emolovee Health Center <br />Page 1394 <br />Johanna Ray, Health and Wellness Manager, presented information related <br />to the County's Employee Health Center (EHC). She described the following: <br />the purpose of the EHC; the utilization trends of the EHC since its opening <br />in 2006; the savings on lab services ($369,018.35); prescription savings <br />(sample medication) - ($10,791.86); savings to employees ($183,600.00); <br />savings for departments ($27,568.70); services and programs offered at the <br />EHC; upcoming changes; etc. Ms. Ray responded to questions from the Board <br />throughout her presentation. <br />Commissioner Carruth arrived at 5:32 p.m. and was present for the <br />remainder of the meeting. <br />Recess <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Poole, <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting recessed at 5:96 p.m. until Wednesday, <br />May 20, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Governmental <br />Center. <br />Cler to he ar <br />
