By the same vote, the Board removed Fantasia <br />Piedra and Sam Yow from the )CPC roster and thanked them for their service. <br />(I) REPORTS <br />(I-1) Request for Applications for County Boards/Committees <br />Chairman White announced applications are being accepted for the <br />following County boards/committees: <br />• Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br />• Animal Preservation and Protection Advisory Committee <br />• Concord Planning and Zoning Commission (ETJ) <br />• Criminal Justice Partnership Advisory Board <br />• Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority <br />• Juvenile Crime Prevention Council <br />• Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br />• Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br />• Transportation Advisory Board <br />Chairman White urged Cabarrus County citizens to consider serving on a <br />County board or committee. <br />(J) GENERAL COMMENTS BY BOARD MEMBERS <br />Chairman White encouraged citizens to provide comments on the <br />Southeastern Park, expressed appreciation to the Fair employees for a job <br />well done and commented on the progressive thinking of County staff as <br />evidenced at the NCACC conference. <br />Commissioner Poole expressed appreciation to Cadets Miah Jones and <br />Ronald Teeter for singing the National Anthem and commented on the NCACC <br />conference. <br />Commissioner Privette also commented on the NCACC conference. <br />(K) WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF CABARRU$ COUNTY <br />None. <br />(L) CLOSED SESSION <br />(L-1) Closed Session - Closed Session to Disauas Threatened or Pendin <br />Litigation - ($MI) <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Closed Session to discuss <br />threatened or pending litigation (SMI) as authorized by NCGS <br />193.318.11(a)(3). <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Poole and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of Closed Session at 8:49 <br />p.m. <br />(M) ADJOURN <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Poole, seconded by Vice Chairman Mynatt and <br />unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 8:49 p.m. <br />Cle t the a <br />
