At the completion of each individual project, <br />all unrestricted excess funds are transferred to the Capital <br />Reserve Fund and the Capital Project Ordinance is closed. <br />Section 10. The County Manager is hereby authorized to <br />transfer revenues and appropriation within an ordinance as <br />contained herein under the following conditions: <br />1. The Manager may transfer amounts between objects of <br />expenditures and revenues within a function without <br />limitation. <br />a. The Manager may transfer amounts up to $100,000 between <br />functions of the same ordinance. <br />b. The Manager may transfer amounts between contingency <br />funds which are set aside for a specific project for <br />budgetary shortfalls or upon the appropriate approval of <br />a change order. <br />c. Upon notification of funding increases or decreases from <br />state, federal, or previously approved grant resources, <br />the Manager or Finance Director may adjust budgets to <br />match. <br />d. Joyner (4,911.20). The Board of Education requests <br />the Cabarrus County Commissioners approve the easements and pay for the <br />easements out of the A. T. Allen Replacement Elementary School land budget. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the purchase and payment of the <br />property easements between the Cabarrus County Board of Education and <br />landowners: Timothy Avett, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Avett and Mr. and Mrs. Homer <br />D. Joyner, subject to approval by the Cabarrus County Board of Education. <br />- Budget Amendment - Transfer <br />19 <br />from <br />The General Eund purchased a 2010 Ford F-150 Truck for the <br />Landfill/Recycling Department. The previous truck was due for replacement as <br />determined by the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. For accounting purposes, the <br />following budget revision allows for the transfer of the truck from the <br />General Fund to the Proprietary Fund for capitalization purposes. In future <br />years, vehicle replacements for the Landfill/Recycling Department will be <br />budgeted in the appropriate fund for accounting and tracking purposes. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment: <br />Date: 10/12/2009 Amount:$19, 193 <br />Dept.
