March 1-5, 2008 (NACo Legislative Conference) <br />Page 726 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus attended the <br />National Association of Counties' (NACo) Legislative Conference held at the <br />Hilton Washington, March 1-5, 2008 in Washington, DC. <br />Elected Officials Registered: <br />Vice Chairman: Joni D. Juba <br />Commissioners: Robert W. Carruth <br />Grace Mynatt <br />Coy C. Privette <br />County Staff Registered: <br />County Manager John Day <br />Deputy County Manager Pam Dubois <br />Clerk to the Board Kay Honeycutt <br />The Board's adopted 2008 Meeting Schedule includes the NACo (National <br />Association of Counties) Legislative Conference held each March in <br />Washington, DC. <br />Commissioners Mynatt and Privette were originally scheduled to attend <br />the conference but canceled their reservations due to scheduling conflicts. <br />Vice Chairman Juba, Commissioner Carruth and County staff attended <br />various legislative sessions throughout the week. <br />A quorum was not present and no actions were taken. <br />Clerk o t e oa <br />
