May 6, 2008 (EDC Stakeholder Luncheon) <br />Page 820 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus attended the <br />Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation's (EDC) Stakeholder Luncheon held <br />at the Old Cabarrus Bank & Trust in Kannapolis, North Carolina on Tuesday, <br />May 6, 2008, at noon. <br />Present - Chairman: H. Jay White, Sr. <br />Commissioners: Robert W. Carruth <br />Grace M. Mynatt <br />Absent - Vice Chairman: Joni D. Juba <br />Coy C. Privette <br />Also present were John Day, County Manager; Mike Downs, Deputy County <br />Manager; Pam Dubois, Deputy County Manager; Kay Honeycutt, Clerk to the <br />Board; Jonathan Marshall, Commerce Director; and Kelly Sifford, Community <br />Development Manager. Several members from the Tax Department were also <br />present. <br />Cabarrus Economic Development - 2007 Annual Report <br />During lunch, John Cox, President and CEO of Cabarrus Economic <br />Development and Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce, presented the EDC's <br />2007 Annual Report. <br />No action was taken by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Adjourn <br />The luncheon ended around 1:30 p.m. <br />Yl <br />Clem to he B r <br />
