PLEASANT F/D $130.93 <br />NORTHEAST F/D $1.08 <br />ODELL F/D $0.00 <br />POPLAR TENT E/D $0.00 <br />RICHFIELD F/D $0.00 <br />RIMER F/D $0.00 <br />WINECOFF F/D $0.00 <br />(G) NEW BUSINE53 <br />Page 832 <br />(G-1) Commerce Department - Proposed Text Amendment (C2007-09-Z T) to the <br />Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance - Publia Hearing 6:30 p.m. <br />Susie Morris, Planning and Zoning Manager, presented the following <br />information related to a proposed Text Amendment (C2007-09-ZT) to the <br />Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance: the intent of the text amendment is to <br />clarify the purpose and administration of the River/Stream Overlay District, <br />which will now be called the Waterbody Buffer District; and to ensure that <br />the County is in compliance with the terms of the Interbasin Transfer (IBT) <br />that Concord agreed to in 2007. <br />Chairman White opened the public hearing at 6:45 p.m. The Public <br />Hearing Notice was published on May 5 and 12, 2008 in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE <br />and on May 8 and 15, 2008 in THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER (Cabarrus Neighbors). <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman <br />White closed the public hearing. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba and <br />unanimously carried the Board adopted the following Ordinance amending the <br />Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance (C2007-09-ZT) as presented: <br />Ordinance No. 2008-05 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY <br />ZONING ORDINANCE (C2007-09-ZT) <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br />DELETE Section 9-8, River/Stream Overlay Zone <br />ADD Section 9-8 Waterbody Buffer Zone <br />Adopted this the 19t" day of May, 2008 by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br />/s/ H.
