Other than as part of special events or therapy sessions, <br />no meals shall be served to the general public on the site. <br />11) Accessory uses. The following accessory uses may be permitted as <br />incidental to and limited to the clients of the principal use: <br />•playground <br />•bathroom facilities <br />•aesthetic (gazebo, barn, etc.) features <br />•barns, animal interaction arenas <br />•physical therapy course/apparatus <br />•multi-purpose building or room <br />12) Signage. Signs for Recreational Therapy Facilities shall meet the <br />requirements Chapter Eleven (Standards for Permanent Signage in <br />Residential Districts) of the Cabarrus County Subdivision and <br />Zoning Ordinance: <br />•One detached sign per premises, located outside of street right- <br />of-way and site distance triangle. Maximum sign area - sixteen <br />feet, maximum sign height - four feet <br />•One attached sign per premises (as a substitute for a <br />ground/detached sign). Maximum sign area - five feet <br />19) Additional Requirements. <br />•The number of animals (livestock) boarded outside or partially <br />outside shall not exceed one animal per acre. Those boarded <br />entirely inside shall not be counted as part of this limitation. <br />•PUblic address systems shall be permitted outside and within a <br />building when the speakers are at least fifty (50) feet from <br />adjacent property lines. Further, noise at any property line <br />shall not exceed thirty-five (35) decibels. <br />Amend Chapter Eight, Conditional Uses, Table Three: Uses & Zones in <br />Which They Are Conditional <br />• ADD the following language to the Table Three: Uses & Zones in Which <br />They Are Conditional: <br />19) Recreational Therapy Facility (Rural Setting) [will be <br />permitted in Ag/Op and CR zones, and will be designated with an <br />asterisk (*) in the corresponding zoning column.] <br />• RENUMBER the following uses: <br />20) Religious Institution (351 seats or more) (from #19) <br />21) Religious Institution with School (from #20) <br />22) Rest/Convalescent Home (10 or more homes) (from #21) <br />23) Restaurant with Drive-Thru Facility (from #22) <br />29) Retail Sales, Shopping Centers of 100000SF or More (from #23) <br />25) Single Family Residential and Mobile Home, Class I (from #24) <br />26) Slaughterhouse/Meat Packing (from #25 <br />27) Trade/Vocational Schools (from #26) <br />28) Truck Stop/Truck Terminal (from #27) <br />29) Trucking & Heavy Equipment, Sales & Service (from #28) <br />30) Wireless Telecommunications Services (from #29) <br />31) Veterinarian/Animal Hospital/Commercial Kennel (from #30) <br />Adopted this the 20th day of October, 2008 by the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners. <br />/s/ H.
