Staff recommends allocating this grant to the Incubator Farm <br />project on Atando Road. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Vice Chairman Juba and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment: <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br />DEPARTMENT OF COUNTY MANAGER - SPECIAL PROJECTS <br />AMOUNT: $2,529.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To appropriate an unrestricted Cannon Foundation grant <br />for the Incubator Farm Project. <br /> Present <br />Account No. Approved Budget Increase Decrease Revised Budget <br />46065910-6606 $0.00 $2,529.00 $2,529.00 <br />Cannon Found Grant <br />46095910-9355 $0.00 $2,529.00 $2,529.00 <br />Other Operating Cost <br />(F-7) County Manager - Adoption of Incubator Farm Project Ordinance and <br />Hudget Amendment - $256,250.00 <br />A project ordinance is being established for the Elma Lomax Incubator <br />Farm Project on Atando Road. This is a multi-departmental capital project. <br />Several grant resources have been awarded/identified and are included in the <br />project ordinance. In addition, the balance of funds set aside in Capital <br />Reserve in FY 08 for this purpose is being appropriated to the project <br />through the attached budget amendment for $254,250.00. The project authorized is the Elma Lomax Incubator Farm Project <br />located on Atando Road in Cabarrus County. <br />
