Humanities Council) <br />• Emergency Management Department - Resolution to Change the Winecoff <br />Fire District Name to Kannapolis Rural Fire Protection District <br />• Advertisement of 2006 Delinquent Taxes Having Liens on Real Property <br />• Refund and Release Reports - January 2007 <br />Appointments to Board and Committees: <br />• Nursing Home Advisory Board <br />• Cabarrus County Agricultural Advisory Board <br />• Juvenile Crime Prevention Council <br />There was a brief discussion on the surplus of voting equipment. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the aforementioned list of <br />additional agenda items as presented, with the exception of the request for <br />an Attorney II position for the Department of Social Services. <br />Piedmont Area Mental Health Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Authority <br />Chairman Carruth reported the Piedmont Area Mental Health, Mental <br />Retardation and Substance Abuse Authority meets in February, March, April, <br />May and June and does not meet again until September. He further reported he <br />will continue to serve on this board until September, at which time <br />Commissioner Mynatt will fill the position. <br />Liaison to Rowan-Cabarrus Community College <br />Chairman Carruth reported Commissioner Mynatt's daughter serves on the <br />Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) Board. Due to a possible conflict of <br />interest, Chairman Carruth stated he will serve as the liaison to RCCC. <br />Adjourn <br />UPON MOTION of Chairman Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adjourned the meeting at 5:22 p.m. <br />Clerk ~o the Bo <br />
