March 26, 2007 (Regular Meeting) Page 318 <br />(L-1) Cloned Seaeion to Diecues Matters Relating to the Location or Expansion <br />of Industries as Authorized by NCGS 143.318.11(a)(4) <br />(L-2) Closed 9esaion to Consult with the Attorney to Preserve the Attorney- <br />Client Privilege and Discuea Threatened or Pendin4 Litigation and to Consider <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner White <br />and unanimously carried, the Board voted to go into Closed Session to consult <br />with the Attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege, to discuss <br />threatened or pending litigation and to discuss matters relating to the <br />location or expansion of industries as authorized by NCGS <br />193.318.11(a)(3)(9)(6). Further, the Board invited the following people into <br />the Closed Session: Ryan McDaniels and Clay Andrews, Cabarrus EDC; DeSales <br />Wagster, Cabarrus CVB; Don Cummings, Human Resources Director and Tony <br />Harris, Safety and Risk Manager. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner White seconded by Commissioner Mynatt <br />and unanimously carried, theBOard moved to come out of closed session. <br />_(M) RECESS OF MEETING <br />With there being no further business to come before the Board, Vice <br />Chairman Juba recessed the meeting at 11:39 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, <br />March 29, 2007, in the cafeteria of the new Bethel Elementary School in <br />Midland. <br />Cle to he B ar <br />
