<br />(F-3) Transfer of Surplus 2001 Crown Victoria from Emergency Management to
<br />the Odell Volunteer Fire Department
<br />
<br />On February 21, 2006, Odell Volunteer Fire Department requested
<br />transfer of a surplus County vehicle to be used to run medical calls and to
<br />transport personnel to training classes. Emergency Management has a 2001
<br />Crown Victoria previously used by the Sheriff's Office that is no longer
<br />needed for Emergency Management. The estimated value of the vehicle is
<br />$3,550.00. The odometer reads 137,000.
<br />
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board declared surplus the 2001 Crown
<br />Victoria (VIN # 2FAFP7lW6lX1289l6) and authorized transfer from the Cabarrus
<br />County Emergency Management Department to the Odell Volunteer Fire
<br />Department.

<br />(F-4) Department of Social Services - Creation of Two Temporary, Full-Time
<br />Community Social Services Technician (CSST) Positions and Related Budget
<br />Amendment
<br />
<br />Department of Social Services has requested two temporary, full-time
<br />Community Social Services Technician (CSST) positions utilizing Adoption
<br />Incentive funding earned by the agency. These positions will assist with
<br />court ordered visitations with families when the child's release for adoption
<br />has been appealed.
<br />
<br />UPON MOtION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board established two temporary, full-
<br />time Community Social Services Technician positions for the Department of
<br />Social Services and adopted the following budget amendment:
