Pleasant Parks << Recreation Commission for Use of <br />Mt. Pleasant Community Enrichment Center <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Operations <br />Agreement between Cabarrus County Department of Aging and the Mt. Pleasant <br />Parks and Recreation Commission for use of the Mt. Pleasant Community <br />Enrichment Center for the Mt. Pleasant LunchPlus Club and Department of Aging <br />activities for the period of July 1, 2005 - June 30, 2015. <br /> <br />(F-16) Employee Clinic - Lease of Office Space at Church Street Commons <br /> <br />Staff performed an extensive search for the appropriate location and <br />size of a medical office space to house the Cabarrus County Employee Health <br />Clinic (EHC). After visiting several locations, staff identified Suite 105 <br />of Church Street Commons, 845 Church Street North in Concord (1100 square <br />feet) as being the most suitable space for the clinic. The first year lease <br />amount is $17,509.00 with a three percent escalator. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the lease proposal <br />between Cabarrus County and South Central Oil Company, Inc. for the Cabarrus <br />County Employee Health Clinic to be located in Suite 105 of Church Street <br />Commons (845 Church Street, North) and authorized the County Attorney and <br />County Manager to review and execute the lease. <br /> <br />(F-17) Appraisal of Fo~er Bethel School Property in Midland <br /> <br />The Board of Commissioners has requested additional information prior <br />to approving a proposal from Yates, Chreitzberg and Hughes Architects to <br />provide schematic drawings for demolition, site development, and upfit of the <br />former Bethel school site and buildings. Further input from the Midland Town <br />Council concerning its financial commitment to the project and a current <br />appraisal of the property are requested so that the Board can evaluate the <br />project further. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board authorized staff to secure a <br />real estate appraisal of the former Bethel Elementary School property. <br /> <br />(F-18) Tax Refund and Release Report - April 2006 <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the April 2006 Release <br />and Refund Report as submitted by J.
