June 19, 2006 - Regular Meeting Page 651 (F-15) FY 07 Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (DJJDP) Program Agreements This joint venture between Cabarrus County and the State of North Carolina provides a variety of community based services for children at risk for behavioral problems. Program recommendations are submitted by the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. The recommended funding is as follows and is included in the FY 2006/07 Annual General Fund Budget. (F-16) Renewal of Amendment to Agreement for Maintenance " Repairs for Public School Parks In 2005-2006, the Board of Commissioners contracted with the Cabarrus County Board of Education to perform maintenance/repairs for school/park facilities on 10 public school sites. The current agreement expires on June 30, 2006. The Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department and Commission recommends that the agreement be extended for two years with the following modifications: Change from current agreement of reimbursement of time and half for labor to standard labor reimbursements (Section 3B); Eliminated mileage reimbursements (Section 3B); Eliminated the former Bethel Elementary School/Park site on Highway 24/27 (Schedule 1); and Added Cox Mill School/Park site (Schedule 1). UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Renewal Agreement between Cabarrus County and the Cabarrus County Board of Education for Maintenance and Repairs for Public School Parks in Cabarrus County. The renewal agreement terminates on June 30, 2008. (F-17) 2006 Edition of County Management & County Sheriff Records Retention Schedule UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the 2006 County Management Records Retention and Disposition Schedule and the 2006 County Sheriff's Office Records Retention and Disposition Schedules as issued by the N. C. Department of Cultural Resources, Division of Historical Resources, Archives and Records Section, Government Records Branch; and authorized the Chairman to sign the Approval forms for each schedule on behalf of the Board.
