Bonds, Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />(Note: This revises Ordinance No. 2005-01 adopted on March 21, 2005.) <br /> <br />(F-27) Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department - Fees and Charges <br />Policy/Schedule for FY 06-07 <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Department Fees and Charges Policy explains <br />the purpose, the method of charging fees, the fee schedule and special <br />consideration for variances. The fee schedule and policies are reviewed and <br />updated annually. Addi tions to and changes in the current policy for FY <br />2006-07 include the following: <br /> <br />1. Recommended fees for new park facilities at Pharr Mill Road Park: <br /> <br /> Resident Non-Resident Max Capacity <br />One Time Period <br />Large Shelter $30.00 $ 60.00 50 <br />Small Shelter $15.00 $ 30.00 15 <br />Two Time Period <br />Large Shelter $60.00 $120.00 50 <br />Small Shelter $30.00 $ 60.00 15 <br /> <br />2. Request to increase the per hour charge for after park hour operations <br />for all County operated parks from $15.00 to $25.00 per hour. <br /> <br />3. Promotional weekday rate for new <br />Sunday - Thursday Night Rental <br />required. <br /> <br />cabins at Camp T.N. Spencer Park. <br />a two-night minimum rental period <br /> <br />$25.00 per night - Resident (Current $35.00 per night) <br />$50.00 per night - Non Resident (Current $70.00 per night) <br /> <br />4. Special consideration will be granted to Cabarrus County citizens who <br />serve (overseas) in the military. This will consist of free use of <br />picnic facilities (miniature golf, paddleboats, concessions, or the <br />upper level of the barn will not be included). The usage will be <br />limited to two usages for each deployment (leaving/returning). Written <br />proof of duty will be required. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />Policy/Schedule for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 for the Parks <br />Department as set forth in the Agenda. <br /> <br />by Commissioner <br />Fees and Charges <br />and Recreation <br /> <br />A copy of the Fees and Charges Policy/Schedule is on file in the County <br />Manager's Office. <br /> <br />(F-28) Proposed Increase in Tipping Fee Schedule at Landfill for <br />Construction and Demolition Disposal <br /> <br />Evaluation of current market rates for construction and demolition <br />disposal revealed that the County rates are too low. The increase in fees <br />will allow the landfill to stay competitive with the current market rates and <br />will aid in the funding of next budget year's position for the waste <br />reduction program. <br /> <br />UPON :MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the following Solid <br />Waste Management Fee Schedule: <br />
