(F-27) Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department - Fees and Charges Policy/Schedule for FY 06-07 The Parks and Recreation Department Fees and Charges Policy explains the purpose, the method of charging fees, the fee schedule and special consideration for variances. The fee schedule and policies are reviewed and updated annually. Addi tions to and changes in the current policy for FY 2006-07 include the following: 1. Recommended fees for new park facilities at Pharr Mill Road Park: Resident Non-Resident Max Capacity One Time Period Large Shelter $30.00 $ 60.00 50 Small Shelter $15.00 $ 30.00 15 Two Time Period Large Shelter $60.00 $120.00 50 Small Shelter $30.00 $ 60.00 15 2. Request to increase the per hour charge for after park hour operations for all County operated parks from $15.00 to $25.00 per hour. 3. Promotional weekday rate for new Sunday - Thursday Night Rental required. cabins at Camp T.N. Spencer Park. a two-night minimum rental period $25.00 per night - Resident (Current $35.00 per night) $50.00 per night - Non Resident (Current $70.00 per night) 4. Special consideration will be granted to Cabarrus County citizens who serve (overseas) in the military. This will consist of free use of picnic facilities (miniature golf, paddleboats, concessions, or the upper level of the barn will not be included). The usage will be limited to two usages for each deployment (leaving/returning). Written proof of duty will be required. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Policy/Schedule for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 for the Parks Department as set forth in the Agenda. by Commissioner Fees and Charges and Recreation A copy of the Fees and Charges Policy/Schedule is on file in the County Manager's Office. (F-28) Proposed Increase in Tipping Fee Schedule at Landfill for Construction and Demolition Disposal Evaluation of current market rates for construction and demolition disposal revealed that the County rates are too low. The increase in fees will allow the landfill to stay competitive with the current market rates and will aid in the funding of next budget year's position for the waste reduction program. UPON :MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved the following Solid Waste Management Fee Schedule:
