Broadway is retiring from the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department <br />on July 26, 2006j and A. Bryan Howard is retiring on August 22, 2006. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Juba, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board, pursuant to NC General Statute 20-187.2, <br />declared surplus and authorized the award of the service weapon (Sig, 40 <br />Caliber, Model P226R, Serial #U684394) for the price of $1.00 to Crowell T. <br />Broadway and the award of the service weapon (Sig, 40 Caliber, Model P226R, <br />Serial #U684332) for the price of $1.00 to A. Bryan Howard upon their <br />retirement from the Sheriff's Department. <br /> <br />(1'-3) Annual Settlement and Order Authorizing Collection of 2006 Taxes <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Juba, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board accepted the following Tax Collector's <br />Annual Settlement as reported; and accepted and approved the Order set forth <br />below authorizing collection of 2005 taxes in accordance with N. C.
