September 25, 2006 (Regular Meeting) Page 109 <br />Engineering totaling $2,000.00; and (4) Conduit installation cost from AT&T <br />totaling $4,000.00. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner <br />Carpenter and unanimously carried, the Board approved Change Order No. 1 <br />(Phase 1 and Phase 2) for the C&D Landfill Expansion; authorized the County <br />Manager to execute the change orders; and adopted the following related <br />budget amendment: <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br />DEPARTMENT OF SOLID WASTE <br />AMOUNT: $317,310.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Solid Waste fund balance appropriation from FY 2007 to <br />cover the change order from Culp Brothers totaling $279,710.00 and additional <br />engineering and ancillary cost associated with the expansion project in the <br />amount of $37,600.00. <br /> Present <br />Account No. Ap proved Budget Increase Decrease Revised Budget <br />27064610-6901 $701,616.00 $317,310.0.0 $1,018,926.00 <br />Fund Balance Approp riated <br />27094610-9606 $145,811.00 $31,600.00 $177,411.00 <br />Engineering <br />27094610-9830-2202 $491,717.00 $285,710.00 $777,427.00 <br />Other Improvements - Land <br />(F-4) Board of Elections - Budget Amendments (Voting Equipment & Software <br />and ADA Projects) <br />The first budget amendment reduces the grant budgets for Voting <br />Equipment and Software by $554,000.00. The County will still receive the <br />equipment, however the State will purchase the equipment directly rather than <br />disbursing the funds to the Counties as originally planned.
