Increase $15,097.00 Decrease $0.00 Revised Budget $202,301. 00 $15,097.00 $0.00 $202,301. 00 (F-2) Resolution Changing the Regular July Meeting from July 18 to July 14 and Canceling the Agenda Work Session in July UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution changing the regular July meeting date and canceling the July Agenda Work Session. Resolution No. 2005-15 RESOLUTION REVISING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2005 WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners has established a regular meeting schedule that provides for a regular meeting on Monday, July 18, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. and an agenda work session at a date to be determined in July; and WHEREAS, due to scheduling conflicts, the Board desires to cancel the agenda work session in July and reschedule the regular meeting from July 18 to July 14. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners does hereby revise it regular meeting schedule :to cancel the regular agenda work session in July 2005 and to change the regular meeting date from July 18 to Thursday, July 14, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, SE, Concord. Bonds, Clerk to the Board (F-3) NC 73 Corridor Study - Memorandum of Understanding and Appointments to the Council of Planning Several months ago, the County adopted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with all of the local governments involved in the NC 73 Corridor Study. The MOU was forwarded to the N. C. Department of Transportation for their approval. State officials requested additional changes to the document, and Planning staff recommends its approval. The parties of the MOU are as follows: the Counties of Cabarrus, Lincoln, and Mecklenburg; the Cities of Concord and Kannapo1isi the Towns of Cornelius, Davids.on, and Huntersville; the Cabarrus-Rowan Metropolitan Planning Organization; the Centralina Council of Governments; the Lake Norman Rural Transportation Planning Organization; the Mecklenburg-Union Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the Memorandum of Understanding as presented in the Agenda, authorized the Chairman to sign the following Statement of Adoption and authorized the County Manager to execute the MOU on behalf of the County. Further, the Board made the following appointments to the Council. of Planning that was created as a part of the MOU to maintain the NC 73 Plan: Chairman Carpenter - County representative, Commissioner Freeman - alternate, and Rodger Lentz - staff representative.
