Reimb. <br /> <br />Increase <br />$15,097.00 <br /> <br />Decrease <br />$0.00 <br /> <br />Revised Budget <br />$202,301. 00 <br /> <br />$15,097.00 <br /> <br />$0.00 <br /> <br />$202,301. 00 <br /> <br />(F-2) Resolution Changing the Regular July Meeting from July 18 to July 14 <br />and Canceling the Agenda Work Session in July <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution changing <br />the regular July meeting date and canceling the July Agenda Work Session. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005-15 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REVISING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE <br />OF THE CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2005 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners has established a <br />regular meeting schedule that provides for a regular meeting on Monday, July <br />18, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. and an agenda work session at a date to be determined <br />in July; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to scheduling conflicts, the Board desires to cancel the <br />agenda work session in July and reschedule the regular meeting from July 18 <br />to July 14. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby revise it regular meeting schedule :to cancel the <br />regular agenda work session in July 2005 and to change the regular meeting <br />date from July 18 to Thursday, July 14, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will <br />be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Cabarrus County Governmental <br />Center, 65 Church Street, SE, Concord. Bonds, Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />(F-3) NC 73 Corridor Study - Memorandum of Understanding and Appointments <br />to the Council of Planning <br /> <br />Several months ago, the County adopted a Memorandum of Understanding <br />(MOU) with all of the local governments involved in the NC 73 Corridor Study. <br />The MOU was forwarded to the N. C. Department of Transportation for their <br />approval. State officials requested additional changes to the document, and <br />Planning staff recommends its approval. The parties of the MOU are as <br />follows: the Counties of Cabarrus, Lincoln, and Mecklenburg; the Cities of <br />Concord and Kannapo1isi the Towns of Cornelius, Davids.on, and Huntersville; <br />the Cabarrus-Rowan Metropolitan Planning Organization; the Centralina Council <br />of Governments; the Lake Norman Rural Transportation Planning Organization; <br />the Mecklenburg-Union Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the North <br />Carolina Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the Memorandum of Understanding as <br />presented in the Agenda, authorized the Chairman to sign the following <br />Statement of Adoption and authorized the County Manager to execute the MOU on <br />behalf of the County. Further, the Board made the following appointments to <br />the Council. of Planning that was created as a part of the MOU to maintain the <br />NC 73 Plan: Chairman Carpenter - County representative, Commissioner Freeman <br />- alternate, and Rodger Lentz - staff representative. <br />
