Freeman, Chairman <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Closed Session <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Closed Session to consult <br />with the Attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege as authorized by <br />North Carolina General Statute 143-318.11(a) (3), such session to include <br />discussion regarding pending lawsuits: Craft D~velopment and Craft Home vs. <br />City of Concord and Cabarrus County; Robert and Mary White Morrison, etc., <br />vs. City of Concord and Cabarrus County; and Cabarrus County vs. Systel <br />Business Systems. Mr. Hartsell joined the Board in Closed Session. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Chairman Freeman and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to come out of Closed Session. <br /> <br />No action was reported from the Closed Session. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Freeman recessed the meeting at 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, <br />2004, in the Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
