The State <br />preformed an audit in August 2004 and released information in September 2004. <br />Cabarrus County's CPS staffing ratio was higher than the 1 to 12 caseload; <br />therefore, the County was awarded additional grant funding of $123,041.00. <br />Grant funding will provide salary and benefits for three (3) Social Worker <br />Investigative Assessment and Treatment Positions and one (1) Social Worker <br />Supervisor III effective 11.26.04 through 06.30.05. Quotes were <br />received for purchase of the equipment with the cost totaling approximately <br />$106,000.00.
