She <br />reconvened the meeting at 10:05 p.m. <br /> <br />(G-2) Proposed Zoning Text Amendment Changing the Side Setback and Minimum <br />Lot width Requirements to Accommodate Townhomes in the aILe District- Conduct <br />Public Hearing and Consider Adoption of Ordinance <br /> <br />Rodger Lentz I Planning & Zoning Manager I discussed the need to amend <br />the side setback and minimum lot ~idth requirements to accommodate townhomes <br />in the O/LC district. At its November lB, 2004 meeting, the Cabarrus County <br />Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of petition C2004-0B(ZT). <br /> <br />At 10:05 p.m., Chairman Carpenter opened the public hearing on the <br />proposed zoning Text Amendment. The Public Hearing Notice was published in <br />THE CHARLOTTE OBSERVER (CABARRUS NEIGHBORS) on December 5 and 19, 2004 and <br />was posted on the County Website for the period of December 5 - 21, 2004. <br /> <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman <br />Carpenter closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Carruth, seconded by Commissioner Freeman <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following ordinance amending <br />the Cabarrus County zoning Ordinance: <br /> <br />petition C2004-0B (ZT) <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2004-21 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1.
