February 10, 2003 Page 42 <br /> <br /> There was brief discussion by the Board regarding the need for water <br />and sewer service in the Georgeville area as well as other areas of Cabarrus <br />County. Issues addressed included the possibility of setting aside funds each <br />year for water and sewer projects, the development that follows water and <br />sewer services and efforts to identify other water sources for Cabarrus <br />County. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner <br />Privette and unanimously carried, the Board directed staff to get a rough <br />estimate on an engineering study and the cost to provide water to the <br />Georgeville community. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Freeman adjourned the meeting at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
