The <br />Invitation to Bid was published in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on October 30, 2003. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the bid and authorized the Sheriff's <br />Department to proceed with the purchase requisition for eight Police Interceptor <br />Vehicles at a cost of $20,523.00 each ($164,184.00 total purchase) to be <br />purchased from Hilbish Motor Company, Kannapolis, North Carolina. <br />(G-4) C~mm-rce/Co__mmunity Development - Budget Amendment (Heating and Air Repair <br />and Replacement Program) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carruth and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment. <br /> <br /> BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br />DEPARTMENT OF Commerce/Community Development <br />AMOUNT: $18,927.00 <br /> TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br /> PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To appropriate additional funds of $9,331 to be received for <br /> the Heating & Air Repair Program (HARP). Funds are received on a 100% cost <br /> reimbursement basis from the NC Office of Economic Opportunities and are <br /> allocated to qualified applicants based on eligibility requirements.
