112 <br /> <br />Closed Session - Count~Mana~er ~erformance Evaluation <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Suggs <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Closed Session to discuss <br />the performance of the County Manager as authorized by North Carolina General <br />Statute 143-318.11(a) (6). Further, the Board invited Mr. Don Cummings, Human <br />Resources Director, to join the Board in Closed Session.~ <br /> <br /> The Clerk left the meeting when the Board went into Closed Session, and <br />Mr. Cummings recorded the minutes in her absence. <br /> <br /> uPoN MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to end the Closed Session. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to give the County Manager a performance <br />increase equivalent to 1.5 percent plus the cost of his previously covered <br />Disability Insurance and Health Insurance Coverage for his daughter. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Fennel adjourned the meeting at 7:24 p.m. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
