160 2. Term. This agreement shall cover the period of one year beginning with the date hereof, and it shall be automatically renewed from year to year unless one party shall give to the other written notice of its intention to terminate the agreement at the end of the then current term, such notice to be given at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of such current term. 3. Services to be Provided. .The COUNTY will provide building code administration and enforcement services to the TOWN in accordance with the applicable North Carolina laws and regulations. The COUNTY will also provide administration and enforcement of the Town's Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. 6. Compensation. The COUNTY will receive and retain as its compensation for the services provided the TOWN under this agreement all fees provided by law for such services. 7. Amendments. Any amendment to the agreement shall be in writing and executed by the COUNTY and the TOWN. Director of Finance County of Cabarrus Date Date Director of Budget Town of Midland Register of Deeds - Professional Services Agreement with Logan S~stems~ Inc.~ for Records Management UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved the "Professional Services Agreement" between Logan Systems, Inc. and Cabarrus County for Logan Systems to provide services to the Cabarrus County Register of Deeds for the management, including the indexing and recording (imaging), of permanent land records maintained by the Register of Deeds; and authorized the Chairman to sign the contract on behalf of Cabarrus County. The contract is effective through June 30, 2004 and the costs for services to be provided by Logan are as follows: (1) Indexing, automated indexing, scanning of land records, image retrieval, compact book printing and remote access services for $3.95 per land record instrument filed; (2) Plat scanning will continue to be at $6.00 per plat, and includes payment for backfile conversion services. ($52~641.50) The following bids were received on July 19, 2001 for the Sheriff's Department Uniforms for Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The contract will expire June 30, 2002. Further, the Board granted permission to renew the contract for one consecutive 12-month term based on an increase in price of no more than three percent (3%) (upon agreement between American Uniform Sales, Inc. and Cabarrus County).
