453 <br /> <br />Presentation of the Proposed 2000-2001 Secondary Road Construction Proqram <br />for Cabarrus County - Mr. J. K. Wilson, III, P.E., District Enqineer <br /> <br /> Mr. J. K. Wilson, III, P.E., District Engineer with the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation, presented the proposed 2000-2001 Secondary Road <br />Construction Program for Cabarrus County. The Public Notice of the scheduled <br />presentation was published by the Department of Transportation in THE <br />INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on May 6 and 13, 2000. He also reviewed the role of <br />county commissioners and the State Board of Transportation in establishing <br />secondary road programs for counties. Mr. Wilson responded to questions about <br />the paving of Edgefield Road, which the Board had asked to be removed from <br />the 1998 program in response to a request by a majority of the Edgefield Road <br />residents.
