She thanked those volunteers from Cabarrus County who assisted <br />with the conference wide event at Lowe's Motor Speedway on July 16. <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Chairman Fennel opened the meeting for Informal Public Comments at 6:50 <br />p.m. No one addressed the Board, and Chairman Fennel closed that portion of <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS DISCUSSION AND RESPONSE TO INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS (if needed) <br /> <br />County Exposition Center <br /> <br /> Chairman Fennel reported that Leisure and Recreation Concepts (LARC), <br />design consultants, are working on the design for the Exposition Center <br />property.
