142 <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />other party such further documents, and take such other <br />action, as any other party may reasonably request in order <br />to effectuate the purposes of this agreement. <br />The headings in this agreement are for purposes of <br />reference only and shall not limit or otherwise affect any <br />of the terms hereof. <br />This agreement shall be binding upon and shall inure to the <br />benefit of the parties hereto and their respective heirs, <br />legal representatives, permitted successors and assigns. <br />If any provision of this agreement is determined by a court <br />of competent jurisdiction to be illegal or unenforceable, <br />such provision shall be automatically reformed and <br />construed as to be valid, operative and enforceable to the <br />maximum extent permitted by law or equity while preserving <br />its original intent. The contract provided for the completion <br />of a preliminary Master Site Plan with alternate design schemes and <br />park construction budget estimates. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Casper, seconded by Commissioner <br />Privette and unanimously carried, the Board authorized the County <br />Manager to sign the "Professional Service Agreement" with Woolpert LLP <br />in the amount of $15,000.00 for landscape architectural services for <br />the North Cabarrus Park site. <br /> <br />Annual Report - Cabarrus County Child Protection Team - Anne Laukaitis, <br />Team Chairperson <br /> <br /> Ms. Anne Laukaitis, Chair of the Cabarrus County Child Protection <br />Team, presented the Team's Annual Report to the Board. The Team is <br />responsible for advocating for children's needs in the community that <br />provide for their protection and well-being and for remaining informed <br />about legislation and issues impacting children. A copy of the written <br />report is on file in the office of the County Manager. <br /> <br />Homebuilders Association's Support for a Local Option Sales Tax to <br />Support School Construction - Everette Gilliam, President of the <br />Association <br /> <br /> Mr. Everette Gilliam, President of the Cabarrus County Building <br />Industry Association (formerly Homebuilder's Association), stated the <br />organization supported legislation to allow a referendum to enact a <br /> <br /> <br />
