Barnhart <br /> Chairman, Cabarrus County <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Local Law Enforcement Block Grant - Public Hearinq - 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Lieutenant Phil Patterson of the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department <br />reviewed the proposed Local Law Enforcement Block Grant of $12,548.00 with a <br />required local match of $1,394.00. Plans are to use the block grant funds to <br />purchase additional mobile data units. <br /> <br /> At 6:56 p.m., Chairman Barnhart opened the public hearing concerning <br />the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant and asked if anyone wished to speak <br />either for or against the proposed grant. The Notice of Public Hearing was <br />published in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on May 2, 1999. There was no one <br />present to address the Board, and Chairman Barnhart closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Presentation of the Proposed 1999-2000 Secondary Road Construction Proqram <br />for Cabarrus County - 6:30 P.M. - Joe Wilson, Department of Transportation <br />District Enqineer <br /> <br /> Mr. Joe Wilson, District Engineer with the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation, presented the following proposed 1999-2000 Secondary Road <br />Construction Program for Cabarrus County. The Department of Transportation <br />published the notice of the presentation in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on May 5 <br />and 12, 1999. The Clerk posted the proposed Program on the Courthouse <br />bulletin board. <br /> <br /> <br />
