Bennett <br /> Finance Director <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Resolution in <br /> <br />Manufacturing <br />Development <br /> <br /> Support <br />Facility <br /> <br />of Southeastern Packaging Company to Expand its <br /> - Maurice Ewlng, President, Cabarrus Economic <br /> <br /> The Honorable Carl Parmer, Mayor of the Town of Harrisburg, requested <br />that the Board adopt a Resolution supporting the application by Southeastern <br />Packaging Company for a $121,000.00 grant from the North Carolina Department <br />of Transportation Rail Committee. The grant will assist with funding the <br />lead track construction to serve the company's new facility to be built <br />across Mulberry Road from its existing plant. Mayor Parmer advised that the <br />announced $11 million expansion of Southeastern's existing manufacturing <br />facility has grown into a $22 million new facility with eleven (11) <br />additional employees. <br /> <br /> <br />
