The City <br />had promised this funding for the development of a public park at Lake <br />Concord at the time the County utility system was merged with the Kannapolis <br />and Concord systems in 1995. However, the Lake Concord site proved to be less <br />desirable for that purpose and the County has now contracted to sell that <br />land. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mills left the meeting for a short period of time. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />with Commissioners Barnhart, Carpenter and Niblock and Chairman Casper voting <br /> <br /> <br />
