<br />Recognition of James Benjamin Franklin (General Services) and Katherine Vincoli
<br />(Tax Collector's Office) on Their Retirement from Cabarrus County
<br />
<br /> Mr. John Page, General Services Director, recognized Mr. James Benjamin
<br />(J.B.) Franklin on his retirement from the Custodial Division of General
<br />Services. Mr. Franklin began work with General Services in 1982 and retired on
<br />April 4, 1997.
<br />
<br /> On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, Commissioner Carpenter presented
<br />a plaque to Mr. Franklin in appreciation for his service to Cabarrus County.
<br />
<br /> Ms. Linda' Morgan, Tax Collections Supervisor, recognized Ms. Katherine
<br />Vincoli who is retiring on May 30, 1997 from her position as Deputy Tax
<br />Collector. Ms. Vincoli began work in the Tax Collector's Office in 1992.
<br />
<br /> Commissioner Carpenter presented a plaque to Ms. Vincoli in appreciation
<br />for her service to Cabarrus County.

<br />Recognition of Donna W. Deal (Assistant Tax Collections Supervisor) and Margaret
<br />E. Faggart (Deputy Tax Collector) for Attaining Certification by the North
<br />Carolina Tax Collectors' Association
<br />
<br /> Ms. Linda Morgan recognized Ms. Donna W. Deal and Ms. Margaret E. Faggart
<br />for attaining certification by the North Carolina Tax Collectors' Association as
<br />Assistant Tax Collections Supervisor and Deputy Tax Collector, respectively.
