Bid Property Maintenance/Bakers Greek Park $30,122.35 / $16,622.31 $31,850.00 / $17,585.00 0.00 / $17,293.00 0.00 / $16,782.50 UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and unanimously carried, the Board awarded the bid to Charlotte Tractor for the purchase of tractors in the amount of $30,122.35 and $16,622.31, respectively. Approval of Sewer Easement Abandonment (Lot 6~ Phase 1~ Motorsports Industrial Park) UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and unanimously carried, the Board approved the request by Donald E. Whitaker to abandon the existing 30-foot sanitary sewer easement shown on Lot 6 of Motorsports Industrial Park, Phase 1, MB 30, PG 52 and recorded in Deed Book 1437, Page 264. The sanitary sewer crossing the mentioned lot has been removed and relocated, running between Lots 6 and 7. Present Approved Account No. Budget 01-6-55-10-270 .00 Lead Application Grant 01-9-55-10-341 .00 Lead Application Expenses Increase Decrease $7,500.00 $7,500.00 Revised Budget $7,500.00 $7,500.00 Authorization for Information Services Department to Utilize State Contract for Purchase of Microcomputers~ Printers and Peripherals for Gabarrus County The intent to purchase from State contract was advertised in THE INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on September 4, 1997. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and unanimously carried, the Board authorized the Information Services Department to purchase microcomputers, printers and peripherals for Cabarrus County from State contract. Adoption of Resolution Appointing the Planning Services Director as Local Subdivision Review Officer UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. Resolution No. 1997-24 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE PLANNING SERVICES DIRECTOR AS LOCAL SUBDIVISION REVIEW OFFICER WHEREAS, Cabarrus County and all the municipalities within the County have regulations governing the subdivision of land; and WHEREAS, General Statute 47-30.2 has been amended to require the Board of Commissioners of each County to appoint a local subdivision review officer with specified duties; and WHEREAS, each local jurisdiction, the County Land Records division and County Register of Deeds require specific information of subdivision record maps;
