Whitaker to <br />abandon the existing 30-foot sanitary sewer easement shown on Lot 6 of <br />Motorsports Industrial Park, Phase 1, MB 30, PG 52 and recorded in Deed Book <br />1437, Page 264. The sanitary sewer crossing the mentioned lot has been removed <br />and relocated, running between Lots 6 and 7. <br /> <br />Budget Amendment - Public Health (Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Grant <br />Award~ <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the following budget amendment. <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH <br />AMOUNT: $7,500.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Receipt of Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Grant Award. <br /> <br /> Present Approved <br />Account No. Budget <br />01-6-55-10-270 .00 <br />Lead Application Grant <br />01-9-55-10-341 .00 <br />Lead Application Expenses <br /> <br />Increase Decrease <br /> <br />$7,500.00 <br />$7,500.00 <br /> <br />Revised <br />Budget <br />$7,500.00 <br /> <br />$7,500.00 <br /> <br />Authorization for Information Services Department to Utilize State Contract for <br /> <br />Purchase of Microcomputers~ Printers and Peripherals for Gabarrus County <br /> <br /> The intent to purchase from State contract was advertised in THE <br />INDEPENDENT TRIBUNE on September 4, 1997. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized the Information Services Department to <br />purchase microcomputers, printers and peripherals for Cabarrus County from State <br />contract. <br /> <br />Adoption of Resolution Appointing the Planning Services Director as Local <br />Subdivision Review Officer <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 1997-24 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE PLANNING <br />SERVICES DIRECTOR AS LOCAL SUBDIVISION <br /> REVIEW OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County and all the municipalities within the <br />County have regulations governing the subdivision of land; and <br /> WHEREAS, General Statute 47-30.2 has been amended to require <br />the Board of Commissioners of each County to appoint a local <br />subdivision review officer with specified duties; and <br /> WHEREAS, each local jurisdiction, the County Land Records <br />division and County Register of Deeds require specific information <br />of subdivision record maps; <br /> <br /> <br />
