The form of the ballots to be used in the voting machines at said referendum and in the instructions to absentee voters shall be substantially as follows: OFFICIAL BALLOT SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA May 7, 1996 Instructions To vote in favor of the order, punch the number to the right of the word "YES". To vote against the order, punch the number to the right of the word "NO". If you tear or deface or wrongly mark this ballot, return it and get another. Shall the order adopted on March 7, 1996, authorizing not exceeding $49,000,000 School Bonds of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, for the purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, for erecting additional school buildings and other school plant facilities, replacing, remodeling, enlarging and reconstructing existing School buildings and other school plant facilities and acquiring any necessary land, rights-of-way and equipment therefor, in order to provide additional school facilities in said County to maintain the nine months' school term as required by Section 2 of Article IX of the Constitution, and authorizing the levy of taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the principal of and the interest on said bonds, be approved?
