354 <br /> <br /> Ms. Beatrice Little, resident of 583 Love Street in Concord, supported a <br />cap on building, stating that the builders are the people bringing all the <br />children into the 'county and should have to pay for the increased services such <br />as addtt£onal schools. 'She also supported the consolidation of city and county <br />government. <br /> <br /> Mr. F. A. "Jack" Rankin, resident of 4435 Rankin Road, questioned the <br />progress on the Coddle Creek Reservoir project, specifically the relocation of <br />the pipeline. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hartsell reported that there was a major breakthrough during the past <br />week regarding the Reservoir Agreement which addresses the liability issue <br />relative to the relocation of the pipeline. He indicated that the issue should <br />be resolved in the near future. <br /> <br /> Chairman B~rnhart recognized The Honorable Carl Parmer, Mayor of the Town <br />of Harrisburg. Mayor Parmer thanked the residents of the county for their <br />support of the "Natrone Means Day" in Harrisburg on March 4. Approximately <br />$4,000.00 was raised during the event for five local charities. <br /> <br /> There was no one else present to address the Board, and Chairman Barnhart <br />closed the public comments portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Barnhart <br />recessed the meeting at 8:05 P.M. until 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 11, at the <br />Department of Social Services to review the Social Services programs. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
