427 <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Chairman Barnhart opened the meeting for Informal Public Comments. <br /> <br /> Mr. R. Howard Andrews of 2009 Chris Ann Lane in Kannapolis addressed the <br />Board regarding the separation of Church and State. He expressed concern about <br />the Board's recent adoption of a Proclamation designating a Cabarrus County Day <br />of Prayer and the adoption of a resolution in support'of the return of voluntary <br />prayer to the public schools. <br /> <br /> There was no one else present to address the Board, and Chairman Barnhart <br />closed the Informal Public Comments portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Barnhart <br />recessed the meeting at 9:36 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 17, 1995. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
