445 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />that Section 50-5(10), Park Preservation, of the Code of Ordinances, <br />Cabarrus County, North Carolina, is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 50-5 (10) Park Preservation <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to: <br /> <br />(10) <br /> <br />Bring, use, ride, or drive a horse, pony, mule, cow or any <br />other animal in any part of the park, except for commercially <br />licensed horse drawn carriages, which will be treated as <br />limousines for the purpose of this ordinance, or unless the <br />animal is part of a park sponsored program as provided for <br />directly above in subsection (9) of this section. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Fennel explained the restrictions on commercially licensed <br />horse drawn carriages, stating they have the same insurance requirements as <br />automobiles. <br /> <br />Appointment Concord Planning and Zoning Commission (Extraterritorial <br />Jurisdiction Member (1) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Olio-Mills, seconded by Commissioner Fennel <br />with Commissioners Olio-Mills and Fennel voting for and Chairman Barnhart voting <br />against, the Board appointed Mr. John Edward Littlefield as an extraterritorial <br />jurisdiction member to the Concord Planning and Zoning Commission effective July <br />1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1998. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Barnhart <br />recessed the meeting at 8:20 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. on Monday, June 12, 1995, in <br />the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Governmental Center. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
