511 <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus met in emergency <br />session at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, August 3, 1995, for the purpose of a closed <br />session pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11(a)(4) to discuss matters relating to the <br />location or expansion of industries or other businesses in Cabarrus County. The <br />meeting was held at the Greater Cabarrus County Economic Development Corporation <br />Office in Concord, North Carolina. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Chairman: Jeffrey L. Barnhart <br />Vice-Chairman: Arne L. Fennel <br />Commissioners: Sue B. Casper <br /> Dr. Franklin C. Niblock, Jr. <br /> Kenneth Olio-Mills <br /> <br /> Also present were Mr. Fletcher L. Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney; Mr. <br />Maurtce Ewing, Executive Vice-President of the Greater Cabarrus County Economic <br />Development Corporation; and Mrs. Frankie F. Bonds, Clerk to the Board. <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. Commissioner <br />Fennel was absent for the beginning of the meeting but arrived during the closed <br />session. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Mills with <br />Chairman Barnhart and Commissioners Olio-Mills, Casper and Niblock voting for, <br />the Board moved to go into closed session to discuss matters relating to the <br />location or expansion of industries or other businesses in Cabarrus County <br />pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11(a)(4). The Board invited Mr. Ewing to join the Board <br />in the closed session. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to come out of closed session. <br /> <br />No action was reported from the closed session. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Barnhart <br />adjourned the meeting at 8:25 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
