172 <br /> <br />County to exchange a fee simple interest in approximately 0.434 <br />acres of real property and an easement twenty (20) feet in width, <br />both acquired from the heirs of Hannah Jackson in the area of the <br />Coddle Creek Reservoir and valued at approximately One Thousand <br />Dollars ($1,000.0) for an e£ght (8) year, temporary right-of- <br />way/easement twenty (20) feet in width for ingress, egress and <br />regress to and across property owned by Carl O. Overcash of <br />approximately equivalent value. The 20-foot easement extends from <br />Rankin Road eastward to property to be acquired by the county from <br />Overcash for the reservoir. <br /> <br />Centralina Council of Governments Meeting <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter announced that Cabarrus County and the municipalities <br />would be hosting the Centralina Council of Governments (COG) meeting on <br />Wednesday, January 13, 1993, at the Senior Center. Chairman Carpenter will serve <br />as Vice-Chairman of the Council of Governments Board for the next year. <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter opened the Informal Public Comments period at 8:10 P.M. <br />There was no one present to address the Board, and Chairman Carpenter closed the <br />Public Comments section of the meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Carpenter recessed the meeting at 8:15 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January <br />15, 1993. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
