302 <br /> <br /> Commissioner Payne reported that Mr. Henry Waldroup, Utilities Director, <br />had informed him that only one of the two maintenance workers requested for 1993- <br />94 would be needed for the Coddle Creek Reservoir project during the next year. <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter requested additional information regarding Line Item <br />445, Purchased Services, for all budgets. <br /> <br /> Sheriff Canaday briefly reviewed his budget requests for 1993-94 and <br />explained the use of the Federal Forfeiture Sharing funds. No action was taken <br />on the Sheriff's budget. <br /> <br /> The Board discussed future budget review methods, specifically review of <br />line item requests or focus on general areas such as travel, salary increases, <br />school funds, etc. After lengthy discussion, it was generally agreed that <br />members would be prepared at the next meeting to make recommendations regarding <br />general areas of the budget. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Carpenter adjourned the meeting at 7:15 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
