<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Payne, and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the request by the Kannapolis Chamber of Commerce for a
<br />fireworks display at 9:30 P.M. on May 9, 1992 on the Fieldcrest Cannon parking
<br />lot across from the Cannon Village Park. This approval is subject to the receipt
<br />of the appropriate certificate of insurance for the display.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Payne, and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the amendment to the Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-
<br />Income Persons, Contract Number 90-1441-50A2, between the Energy Division, North
<br />Carolina Department of Economic and Community Development and Cabarrus County
<br />Department of Aging and authorized Chairman Carpenter to execute the contract
<br />amendment on behalf of Cabarrus County. The Board further approved the budget
<br />amendment to allocate this change in funding.
