544 <br /> <br /> Mr. Frank Dusch, member of the Concord Board of Aldermen, questioned the <br />status of legislation concerning the establishment of a State lottery. <br />Representative Privette responded that the proposed legislation had been sent <br />to committee as there were numerous questions regarding the use of funds which <br />would be generated if a lottery were established. <br /> Senator Hartsell introduced discussion of the Recall Elections legislation <br />which he had introduced last year at the request of the Board of Commissioners. <br />He reported it was unlikely the matter would be considered during the short <br />session as there were differences among the local delegation concerning this <br />bill. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Carpenter recessed the meeting at 9:00 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, <br />1992. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
