<br /> The Board began review of the proposed Fiscal Year 1992-93 budget in the
<br />Commissioners' Conference Room.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Barnhart, Hamby and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the County Manager budget as recommended with the longevity
<br />figures to be verified.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Barnhart, Hamby and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Tourism Authority budget as recommended.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Tax Collector budget as recommended.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby, and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Tax Assessor budget as recommended.
<br /> During review of the Assessor budget, it was noted that Tax Management
<br />Associates provides motor vehicle pricing information to the County.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Payne and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Revaluation budget as recommended.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby, and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Land Records budget as recommended.
<br /> Chairman Carpenter asked each member of the Board to review the budget and
<br />mark those items for which they had a question.
<br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman
<br />Carpenter recessed the meeting at 8:30 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. on Friday, May 29,
<br />1992.
