<br /> The Board began review of the proposed 1992-93 Annual Budget.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Chairman Carpenter with
<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby and Simmons and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Planning (Current/Long Range) budget as recommended by the
<br />County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with
<br />Chairman Carpenter and Commissioners Simmons, Payne and Hamby voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Traffic Engineering budget as recommended by the County
<br />Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby, and Simmons and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Transportation Planning budget as recommended by the County
<br />Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Simmons, seconded by Chairman Carpenter with
<br />Commissioners Simmons, Hamby, and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Zoning budget as recommended by the County Manager. This
<br />included the new Zoning Technician position previously approved by the Board.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Simmons, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Simmons, Hamby, and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Building Inspections budget as recommended by the County
<br />Manager. This included the part-time secretarial position previously approved
<br />by the Board.

<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby, and Simmons and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the General Services Administration budget as recommended by the
<br />County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with
<br />Commissioners Payne, Hamby, and Simmons and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Service Garage budget as recommended by the County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Co~nissioner Payne with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Payne, and Simmons and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the
<br />Board approved the Soil and Water Conservation District budget as recommended
<br />by the County Manager.
<br /> Commissioner Barnhart arrived at 6:35 P.M. and was present for the
<br />remainder of the meeting.

<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Cooperative Extension budget as
<br />recommended by the County Manager.

<br />recommended by the County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby seconded by Chairman Carpenter and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Social Services Administration budget
<br />as recommended by the County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby seconded by Chairman Carpenter and
<br />unanzmously carried, the Board approved the Public Assistance budget as
<br />recommended by the County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby seconded by Commissioner Payne and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the General Assistance budget as
<br />recommended by the County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby seconded by Chairman Carpenter and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Nutrition-Title IIIC budget as
<br />recommended by the County Manager.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne seconded by Chairman Carpenter and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Senior Services budget as recommended
<br />by the County Manager.

<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Weatherization budget as recommended
<br />by the County Manager.
