351 <br /> <br /> Chairman Simmons reported Mr. Waldroup and Mr. Hartsell were preparing <br />information relative to the annexation of adjacent areas into the Water and <br />Sewer District. A public hearing on the proposed annexation is to be held after <br />the first of the year. <br /> Commissioner Carpenter and Chairman Simmons indicated that they would be <br />attending the Awards Luncheon at the School Boards Conference on November 8. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Simmons, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into executive session to discuss a <br />personnel matter and a matter relating to the location or expansion of an <br />industry in the county as well as for consultation with counsel. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Simmons, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the executive session was adjourned. No action was reported from the executive session. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Chairman Simmons with <br />Commissioners Payne and Carpenter and Chairman Simmons voting for and <br />Commissioners Hamby and Barnhart voting against, the Board granted permission <br />to Ms. Terry Walker of Morehead Downs Horse Stables to use an outdoor <br />amplification system for a band performance each evening through October 31, <br />1991 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:40 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
