416 <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDING CAPITAL <br />AMOUNT $750,000.00 <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To establish budget for Beverly Hills Elementary Classrooms <br /> for the Cabarrus County Schools <br /> <br /> Line Item Present Approved Revised <br />Account Number Budget Increase Decrease Budget <br /> <br />32-9-36-30-801 $1,472,000.00 <br />Cabarrus County Schools <br />32-6-36-34-001 $1,784,398.25 <br /> State Public School Funds <br /> <br />$750,000.00 <br /> <br />$750,OO0.O0 <br /> <br />$2,222,000.00 <br />$2,534,398.25 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Moss, seconded by Commissioner Melvin with <br />Commissioners Moss, Melvin, and Hamby and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />approved the Weatherization Assistance Program Contract (Contract #90-1441-50) <br />between the Cabarrus County Department of Aging and the North Carolina <br />Department of Economic and Community Development for Fiscal Year 1990-1991 and <br />authorized Chairman Lentz to execute the contract on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br />The cost of the program is as follows: <br /> <br />A) <br /> <br />Weatherization Assistance <br /> Administration <br /> Program Support <br /> Materials <br /> Subtotal <br /> <br />$ 5,706.00 <br />$ 53,636.00 <br />$ 35,758.00 <br />$ 95,100.00 <br /> <br />Training and Technical Assistance <br /> Training: Administrative and <br /> Technical <br /> Consumer Education <br /> Travel <br /> Supplies/Equipment <br /> Subtotal <br /> <br />$ 525.00 <br /> <br /> 100.00 <br /> 800.00 <br /> 75.00 <br />1,5oo.oo <br /> <br />TOTAL AWARD $ 96,600.00 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Moss, seconded by Commissioner Melvin with <br />Commissioners Moss, Melvin, and Hamby and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board <br />approved the following contract amendment for Title III Older Americans Act <br />funds. <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT <br /> <br />Amendment Number 2 to Contract, Contract for Services Provided for Under Title <br />III of the Older Americans Act and/or Social Services Block Grant Funds and/or <br />North Carolina State Grant Funds. <br /> This Amendment, entered into this 16th day of May, 1990, by and between <br />the Centralina Council of Governments (hereinafter called the "Council") and <br />Gabarrus County (for services provided by its Department of Aging (hereinafter <br />called the "Agency"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> WHEREAS, the Council and the Agency entered into that certain agreement <br />dated July 1, 1989 pursuant to which the Agency was to provide certain services <br />for persons 60 years of age and older; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain changes need to be made in projections of units of <br />service to be provided in order to recognize past performance as well as needs <br />for the remainder of the contract period; and <br /> WHEREAS, certain changes need to be made in the AAA unit rates; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed that the aforesaid Contract be and it is <br />hereby amended in the following respects: <br /> 1. Paragraph 2 of the Contract is amended by deleting therefrom the <br />following services, numbers of units, AAA unit rates and total grant funds, <br /> <br /> <br />
