<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Moss with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Moss, and Melvin and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board
<br />appointed Mr. M. D. Swaringen as an extraterritorial jurisdiction member to the
<br />Mt. Pleasant Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment to fill the vacancy created
<br />by the resignation of Mr. Leonard Ritchie. Mr. Swaringen's term of appointment
<br />will end on June 20, 1992.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Moss with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Moss, and Melvin and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board
<br />reappointed Mr. Kenneth Geathers to the Cabarrus-Rowan Park Commission for a
<br />four-year term ending July 1, 1994.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Commissioner Moss with
<br />Commissioners Melvin, Moss, and Hamby and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board
<br />appointed Ms. Susan Ridenhour Fuller to the Social Services Board for a three-
<br />year term ending June 30, 1993.
<br /> Chairman Lentz removed from the agenda the Cabarrus County Governmental
<br />Center Construction Quality Control Services Contract with Soil & Material
<br />Engineers, Inc., and the budget amendment for the Governmental Center.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Melvin with
<br />Commissioners Hamby, Melvin, and Moss and Chairman Lentz voting for, the Board
<br />approved the following Budget Revision/Amendment Requests.
