495 <br /> <br /> SERVICES <br />Hospice will provide 24 hour, seven day a week on-call hospice care to selected <br />patients and their families utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach. <br />Hospice care is palliative rather than curative, and Hospice seeks to meet its <br />patient's physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs in a manner that <br />promotes the Hospice philosophy of affirming life. <br /> COMPENSATION <br />County and Health Department shall pay Hospice $5,592.00 for rendering 200 <br />hospice patient care days to appropriate residents of Cabarrus County within the <br />county fiscal year 1990-91.
