CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Consent Agenda <br />FEBRUARY 19, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development - Community Development Grant Request <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Community Development staff is requesting permission to apply for <br />Weatherization, Heating and Air Repair and Replacement Program <br />(HARRP), and Housing and Home Improvement (HHI) funds as part of the <br />annual budget process. Additionally, staff is requesting to pursue grant <br />opportunities that Duke Energy provides that do not require a match. Staff <br />is recommending that the County not apply for HOME (HOME Investment <br />Partnerships Program) funds this year again as the project team is still <br />working to move the Prosperity Ridge Senior Rental Project <br />forward.
